What is therapy, and how can it help me?

Therapy is a collaborative process between a trained therapist and a client to address emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. It can help individuals gain insight, develop coping skills, and work towards improved mental health and well-being.

How do I know if I need therapy?

Therapy can be beneficial for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems, grief, trauma, and life transitions. If you're experiencing emotional distress or feel stuck in any aspect of your life, therapy may be a helpful resource.

What types of therapy do you offer?

What can I expect during a therapy session?

A therapy session will be 50 minutes each session. This will be confidential. The therapist's role is to facilitate the therapeutic process and supporting clients in their journey towards emotional well-being and personal growth. We will build a rapport and trust, gather information necessary to the concerns you want to address. The therapist will provide assessments and evaluations to help develop the proper treatment plan to set clear, achievable goals for therapy. We will develop treatment plans together outlining the strategies and interventions to address these goals. We will provide culturally sensitive psycho education, active listening and empathy to assist with navigating life and promoting autonomy and empowerment.

Is therapy only for people with severe mental health issues?

Therapy is beneficial a wide spectrum of mental health concerns, from everyday stress to more severe conditions. We can all use a therapeutic ear that will assist in navigating life challenges. We encourage individuals to seek help early if they are struggling.

Gracefully Fulfilled is paneled Care First Blue Cross BlueShield, United Behavioral Health/US Behavioral Health Plan, Amerihealth Caritas, Optum - United HealthCare, Optum - UHC Student services.

How does self pay work?

Clients are able to pay out of pocket. We utilize the electronic health record, Simple Practice, where you can add your card and pay through the client portal. If you feel you can not afford the rate, we do provide a sliding scale to make therapy affordable for all.
